Gold and silver at the Brautfoto Award 2026
Brautfoto Award 2026 – 1st and 2nd place for my wedding reportages from Tirol.
I’m absolutely thrilled.
On October 19, 2026, Braut & Bräutigam Magazin presented the Brautfoto Award 2026 – and I’m in it twice:
1st place in the “Family & Friends” category
and
2nd place in the “Snapshot” category.
After 2nd and 3rd place last year, this is my first win in a category. Honestly, I didn’t expect that.
Why this award means so much to me
At the Brautfoto Award, wedding couples also vote – precisely the people who are currently planning their own wedding and recognize genuine emotion when they see it.
And my two images show what I love about my work: emotion, family, and the people who come together on that day.
The Brautfoto Award 2026 explained briefly

What does that mean for my work?
I photograph people the way I see them: close, and with feeling.
That my work has been recognized again is a wonderful confirmation for me.
