Silver and Bronze at the Bridal Photo Award 2025
Bridal Photo Award 2025 – Wedding Photographer Tyrol awarded twice.
And I could hardly believe it myself.
Yesterday the results of the Bride Photo Award 2025 were published – and I was allowed to take two placements home with me:
2nd Place in the Category “Pre- and After-Wedding-Shoot”
and
3rd Place in the Category “Family & Friends”.
I’ll be honest: I absolutely didn’t expect it. You submit your favorite moments, wait weeks, and suddenly your name is there. Twice.
Why these awards aren’t just “Awards” for me
The Wedding Photo Award is not just any competition.
Here, not only professionals decide, but also countless future couples who vote online. People who are right in the middle of planning and recognize real emotion when they see it.
And that’s exactly what makes it so special: it’s close to reality, not elitist and aloof.
My submitted pictures reflect what I love:
– touching, quiet moments during the after-wedding shoot
– loud, honest scenes and action straight from the heart of the wedding party
No show. No posed classics. Just real life.
A Look behind the Award (Short & Sweet from the Official Press Release)
The winners of the Bride Photo Award were presented on November 17, 2025.
The award is already being organized for the fifth time by the Braut & Bräutigam Magazin.
What’s behind it?
– independent, international jury
– Submissions from Germany, Austria and Switzerland
– 10 categories, 10 nominations each
– additionally an overall winner
– tens of thousands of online votes from future wedding couples
Goal of the award: To inspire bridal couples, make modern wedding photography visible and bring professionals together with couples. And yes – it feels good to be right in the middle of it.
What Does that mean for my work?
I photograph the way I see people: real, close, unposed.
The fact that this style has now been awarded is simply a nice confirmation for me that you don’t have to be loud to touch people.
I’m staying true to my path – and I’m looking forward to everything that comes.
