Some weddings don’t feel like a single day, but like a short vacation with your favorite people – that’s exactly how it was with Julia and Joachim. The two of them decided to have a wedding on Lake Garda and said yes in Torri del Benaco – in one of the most atmospheric locations the lake has to offer: the Limonaia in the Scaligero Castle.
And what can I say? A wedding on Lake Garda just feels magical.

This location is not just any lemon grove, but a centuries-old Limonaia in the middle of a historic castle complex. If you opt for a wedding at Lake Garda, you’ll not only get lemons and cypresses here, but also real Italian flair and a unique view over the lake – surrounded by old walls, Mediterranean plants and that special light that you can only find here.
Julia entered, accompanied by the sound of Italian guitar music. Joachim waited with his son Louis at the front, a little nervous, but with that typical “I can’t believe it” look on his face. The atmosphere? Emotional, crackling, light and without any unnecessary kitsch – exactly how you imagine a wedding on Lake Garda.
Reception at the Siora Veronica – with DJane, Vibes & Sea Breeze
After the ceremony, they went straight onto the water – literally. Instead of a champagne reception in the garden, there was a boat trip on the Siora Veronica, a 24-meter-long two-masted schooner with DJane, drinks, finger food and a damn good atmosphere.
And the best thing? This champagne reception in the middle of Lake Garda was anything but ordinary. While the guests raised their champagne glasses in the sun, the first row was already dancing to the soundtrack of the day – surrounded by the lake, mountains, cypresses and the Italian summer sky.

High above Bardolino: Dinner & Celebration at La Dacia
As the sun slowly sank lower, the wedding party continued towards the hills – and suddenly they were in a completely different world: the Ristorante La Dacia, a retreat in the middle of the vineyards above Bardolino. This is also typical for a wedding at Lake Garda: water, mountains, wine – all close together.
Here they ate, celebrated, danced. Long tables, lanterns between the trees, children running barefoot through the grass. Conversations, laughter, sunset – and later Italian music, good drinks and an atmosphere that lasted into the night.
Wedding planner Lisa has done a great job here and turned the wedding on Lake Garda for Julia and Joachim into a celebration that nobody will forget so quickly.
